Extension of the Botanical Garden in Kielce based on endogenous natural heritage resources

The project involved the construction of 3 ponds and providing access to underground structures together with land development (waterfall, Pieniny mountaineering, alleyways, paths, walkways and footbridges over the ponds, planting vegetation in relevant collections and sections; utilities; connections; rainwater drainage; watering water installation; lighting of the site).

The depth of the ponds varies, with a terrace bottom arrangement from 0.5-1.5m. The main reservoir is extended with water flowing into subsequent reservoirs.

Viewpoints and recreation areas have been created at the footpaths. The garden is located on the eastern slope of Karczówka, between a strongly urbanized area (housing estates, industrial and service facilities, medical complexes) and a non-urbanized area (Chęcińsko-Kielecki Landscape Park, Karczówka Reserve).

The project is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities (impact on the extravisual senses and smell, barrier-free architecture.
