Improving public safety in the municipality of Skarżysko-Kamienna by purchasing a medium-sized rescue and firefighting vehicle with equipment
The project was aimed at increasing the efficiency of the VFD unit, increasing the effectiveness of rescue operations and removing the effects of natural hazards.
"Tolek" guarantees safety
Volunteer firefighters from municipality of Skarżysko-Kamienna had been waiting for a new fire truck for years. Finally, the Volunteer Fire Department received a medium rescue and firefighting vehicle with equipment. The new car increased the mobility of the unit becoming more reliable in operation.
The purchase of a car increased the effectiveness of rescue operations and the removal of the effects of natural hazards by the VFD in Skarżysko. What is very important for the residents, it shortened the time to get to the place of hazard. Undoubtedly, the new car also contributed to the protection of the environment by reducing exhaust emissions. Thanks to the purchase, the level of security in the area of operation of the unit has increased.
