Reconstruction of the former brewery buildings at Siennieńska 54 Street in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski for the needs of cultural institutions - the Municipal Public Library, the Municipal Cultural Center and the Bureau of Art Exhibitions
The main goal of the project was to highlight the architectural and historical values of the building, so that the character of the former land development would be preserved and the facility was adapted to conduct cultural activities.
The project is a reconstruction from 1908. buildings of the former brewery for the needs of cultural institutions: the Municipal Cultural Center (MCC), the Municipal Public Library and the Bureau of Art Exhibitions (BAE). Currently, the MCC and BAE are located in part of the facility, while a significant part is unused and in poor technical condition.
Within the frames of the object (usable area: 5.5 thousand m2) there will be located i.a.: reception, tourist information point, library, reading rooms, 2 multifunctional rooms, 4 BAE exhibition rooms, photo gallery, conference room, music rooms, city cultural center workshops: art, modeling, computer graphics, chess club, office and administrative rooms, utility rooms.
The individual functions of the complex have been arranged so that the institutions can function independently of each other. The complex will be used for the statutory activities of the units and will have commercial elements (coffee bar, gallery for the sale of artistic products, summer sales gallery in the courtyard, rental of a conference room and a multifunctional room).
The aim of the project is to increase the accessibility of the cultural resources of the region and the city by improving the operating conditions of the culture institution.
