Improving public transport in Starachowice by modernizing the infrastructure and purchasing low-emission vehicles - stage II
The main goal of the project is to create a coherent public transport system in the city of Starachowice by modernizing the infrastructure and purchasing low-emission vehicles, which will reduce the emission of dust and harmful substances into the atmosphere.
The project assumes:
- purchase of 15 new gas buses, construction of CNG charging stations,
- reconstruction of three streets in the city: Konstytucji 3- go Maja, Parkowa and Partyzantów Street in the section from Konstytucji 3- go Maja Street to Oświatowa Street,
- construction of 12 km of bicycle paths, construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Moniuszki, Nowowiejska and 6 Września Streets, installation of 20 bus shelters,
- construction of energy-saving lighting at Konstytucji 3 - go Maja and Parkowa Streets,
- purchase of a city bike system.
