Improving access in Skarżysko Poviat to services provided in the local community by creating a 24-hour care facility offering permanent residence for the elderly and chronically somatically ill together with sheltered housing
Thanks to the thorough modernization of the former school building, a comfortable facility will be created, providing seniors with high-quality services in accordance with the applicable standards for nursing homes.
There will be cosy rooms equipped with a call system, kitchen and laundry room, spacious dining room, living room with the possibility of integration and entertainment, art studios and a number of other amenities.
The building has been designed to be disabled-friendly (elevator, handrails, no thresholds). The Senior Center in Skarżysko-Kamienna will provide comprehensive care based on an individual approach.
A team of specialists consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, caregivers and psychologists will take care of the health and psychophysical condition of the residents. Rehabilitation will be carried out in the facility, and a stay in the salt cave will ensure a peaceful rest and relaxation. There are also occupational therapy rooms in the building.
In the Senior Center, 30 places of permanent residence and 30 places of short-term stay have been prepared - in sheltered flats, intended for people who need help in everyday life.
