Świętokrzyskie Chain of Courtyard Clubs
The project was implemented from May 2016 to September 2018, addressed to 590 pre-school and school children as well as to young people from families experiencing various types of serious educational and life difficulties.
As part of the project, 60 parents were also provided with additional support. The project assumed the creation of a network of 49 courtyard clubs in the following świętokrzyskie poviats: Busko, Końskie, Opatów, Ostrowiec, Skarżysko, Starachowice, Jędrzejów, Włoszczowska and in the capital of the voivodeship - Kielce.
The main purpose of the day-rooms that were created as part of the project was to create friendly, safe conditions enabling the proper development of the personality of children and young people, while stimulating the development of good relationships and emotional ties in supported families.
Classes in day-rooms were conducted in small groups of 10-15 people, which favored an informal atmosphere and facilitated the use of active educational forms supporting the development of entrepreneurship, artistic expression and social skills. This is an important factor in reducing the negative effects of environmental pathologies and family difficulties.
